Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

We have been trying to get Sarah Claire on somewhat of a bedtime schedule lately, and part of that routine includes reading a book.  We know that she can't understand yet what we are reading, but she still seems to enjoy the routine!  One friend gave us a book that we read Friday night.  There is a sweet part of the book that I love.  It says:

"So promise me you'll never forget that you aren't an accident or an incident. You are a gift to the world- a divine work of art, signed by God. You were knit together. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...by the Master Crafts-Man."

It was such a reminder that Sarah Claire was given to us - not by chance or by accident- but because God chose our home for her.  I love that.

"For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

-Psalm 139:13-14
